CASA DE CAMPO RESORT & VILLAS ANNOUNCES MALUMA AND WISIN TO PERFORM AT THE ALTOS DE CHAVÓN AMPHITHEATER The Urban Performers Will Come Together to Hit the Stone Stage on June 17th
La Romana, D.R. — (April 26, 2017) — Urban music also has its place within the dynamic and diversified leisure activities program at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. To prove that point, two of the biggest acts in Latin music – Maluma and Wisin – will be traveling to the Dominican Republic this summer to perform on the magical stage of the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
“It is an immense pleasure for our resort to be hosting Maluma and Wisin, two of the most recognized and admired urban Latin artists,” said Andres Pichardo Rosenberg, President of Casa de Campo. “This concert forms part of our summer concert line-up that, starting with the epic Jennifer Lopez concert this past April, are helping to further position the Dominican Republic as a leading Caribbean tourist destination.”
The show at Casa de Campo forms part of Maluma’s current World Tour and the promotion of his new single, “Felices los 4,” which dropped on April 21st. The Colombian-born artist, most recently performed in the Dominican Republic at an intimate concert in mid-2016, so this occasion represents his first major concert in the country and in the renowned stage of Altos de Chavón.
Creator of a unique fusion that is born of reggaeton influences, Colombian rhythms, and the contemporary sounds of the new urban scene, Maluma is without a doubt one of the most promising young talents and a leader in Latin music. His first two albums have already provided a repertoire of hit songs, including crossover collaborations with stars like, Shakira, and Ricky Martin, among others.
Performing with Maluma, is reggaeton veteran Wisin, an award-winning artist who has found success both as a solo artist and as part of the smash duo, Wisin y Yandel, which recently announced their
comeback. In his 17-year career as a singer, songwriter and entrepreneur, Wisin has collaborated with artists such as Daddy Yankee, 50 Cent, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Pitbull, Chris Brown, Anahí, Enrique Iglesias, and more.
Pre-sale tickets will be available exclusively for Mastercard credit, debit, and prepaid cardholders, who will enjoy a 15% discount for 15 days or until they sell out on or after Tuesday, May 2nd, as well as a 15% discount when booking a stay at Casa de Campo. Ticket prices, for which general public sale dates have yet to be announced, range from $75 for general admission to $145 for VIP. Additionally, Casa de Campo will be offering a room and ticket package that includes a two-night stay, two general admission tickets, and daily breakfast for two at room rates starting at $189 per person, per night.
