1. Service Focal Points prepare review PHPs and submit recommendations to the Chief of Staff

2. OMA Admin Team reviews the shortlisting and approves suitability in the recruitment system for EO review and approval

1. OMA request the PMs confirmation of the candidate information and their availability on specific dates 2. The set up of Interview Panels according to ST/AI/2010/3. 3. Set up written test in the system 4. Panel members evaluate the exams (Anonymously) 5. Panel performs interviews and take interview notes that are consolidated in a final report

1. Panel Members discuss the exam and interview results (including competency grading) and prepare final report

2. OMA Front Office Team prepares final recommendation memo, final report and geographical representation for submission to DPKO Executive Office

1. EO reviews the final interview report and the GEO balance taking into consideration GA resolution 67/287 paragraph 17, we are mandated to consider candidates from TCC and PCC countries to UN peacekeeping operations.

2. EO oversees that the process is done in adherence to the UN Rules and Regulations for Recruitment, and submit the case for endorsement

3. OUSG reviews the recommendation for selection and if approved send the case to OHRM. If not approved return to OMA through the EO for action

4. OHRM reviews the process and endorses the final selection to start on-boarding process

1. GA Resolution that established 2 + 1 +1. EO enforced the policy in December 2011.

2. Initial 2 Years Fixed Term

3. 3rd Year extension for only 30% of Seconded Officers and is under OMA authority

4. 4th year extension granted in only exceptional basis and OUSG approval is required
