Holiday Season PROGRAM

This holiday season, we invite you to experience Mexican traditions at Conrad Punta de Mita. Take in the scents, sounds and flavors of in , and make this a holiday to remember. We kick off the season on 1st with our lighting, and round out the month with a Mexican Brunch on January 1st.

CHRISTMAS EVE LA The evening will begin with a traditional Huichol shamanic energy cleansing to celebrate and prepare for Nochebuena (). The cleansing will take place at the Lobby fountain from 6:00 to 6:15pm, followed by Dinner at Arbol Restaurant with a new menu and a Christmas Special three-course from 6:00 to 10:30pm. CHRISTMAS DAY will arrive in The Plaza at 1:00pm and perform a quick show with his entourage of holiday characters. Bring your kids to see the show and stay for a meet and greet. cookies and Mexican for the whole family will be served. It will be a fun opportunity to take photos of the kids with Santa and his helpers! In the evening, head over to Arbol Restaurant for a traditional Mexican with Executive Sous Chef Francisco Vargas from 6:00-10:30pm. Saturday, December 26, 2020

For dinner, we will present a unique Ancestral Culinary Experience Dinner with Executive Chef Victor Palma at Codex Restaurant from 6:00 to10:00pm.

CULTURAL EXPERIENCE Join us for a celebration of pre-hispanic Mexican culture at the Lobby Fountain at 6:00pm There will be a short show and the opportunity to take photos with the actors. We will also unveil our New Year’s Resolution Board. Attach your New Year’s resolution to the board, and a shaman will bless it in a ceremony on New Year’s Day, to help ensure the manifestation of your resolution in the new year. MEXICAN KERMESSE A kermesse is a Mexican celebration similar to a small or with food, drinks, activities and games. Join the fun at Mezquite Restaurant on the beach from 6:00 to 9:30pm. The carnival atmosphere will include food carts with traditional Mexican street food, family-friendly games like marbles, pop the balloons, and loteria (Mexican bingo), stilts walkers and folkloric dancers. Visit the Agave Room for a tequila and agave spirits tasting paired CHOCOLATE TASTING with chocolates. Chocolate is a traditional Mexican flavor dating back thousands of years. Cacao was cultivated by ancient indigenous tribes, and it is still Tequila tastings will be held at 2:00, produced in Mexico today! Taste local chocolate at our “Mercado de 4:00 and 6:00pm in small groups Cacao Mexicano” in the Main Lobby from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with with a maximum of 8 people, Pastry Chef Salvador Garcia and Jessica Garcia, who will share their please reserve your space with the knowledge and samples of cacao products made in-house at Conrad! concierge. ARTISANAL FAIR We’ve invited local artisan vendors to come to Conrad and bring their hand crafted products to give you an experience of what the locals are creating. Our Local Artisanal Fair will take place on the Haramara Lawn from 4:00-6:00pm.

Vendors will offer handmade leather goods, indigenous Huichol art, handmade hats, local honey and beeswax, handmade soap, locally roasted coffee, hand carved wood, handmade jewelry, clothing, and Mexican folk. There will be appearances by stilts walkers and the Blue Deer. It will be a fun time for the whole family. Wednesday, December 30, 2020

GUEST APPRECIATION Conrad Punta de Mita’s Executive Team will host a Guest Appreciation Reception and cocktail party from 6:00 to 7:00pm at Tuki. Take the opportunity to meet the team in a festive environment while enjoying appetizers, beer, wine and specialty Conrad cocktails. Thursday, December 31, 2020

NEW YEAR’S EVE, LIGHT UP THE NIGHT Let the good times roll! All of the bars, restaurants, and public spaces will be hopping this New Year’s Eve. The party begins at Tuki, which will be open from 3:00pm to 1:00am and will feature live music from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Dine at your choice of restaurants - Mezquite, or Arbol with a New Year’s Eve buffet. Both restaurants will serve dinner from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Then, the party moves to the Beach Lawn from 10:30 pm to 1:00 am, where you will find lounge seating, cocktail tables, cabaret tables and cash bar, where you can settle in and enjoy the entertainment. Soft, colorful LED lights turn the beach into an outdoor nightclub. Funky characters with cool costumes create an atmosphere while our DJ spins the perfect New Year’s Eve playlist. Traditional fireworks show to ring in the new year at midnight. Friday, January 1, 2021

NEW YEAR’S DAY Mezquite will serve a Mexican Brunch starting at 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

In the evening at 6:00pm it’s time for the Blessing and Releasing of your New Year’s Resolutions on the Beach Lawn, with a shamanic ritual for stepping into the new year fresh and ready for the manifestation of your heart’s desire.
