Full Itinerary TOUR 2019

(May 28 – June 11)

Day 0 – MONDAY (May 27) – Departure from the United States.

Day 1 - TUESDAY (May 28): Arrival to Rome. Settling in the hotel.

Day 2 – WEDNESDAY (May 29): Rome. 1. Roman Forum. 2. Titus’ Arc of Triumph. 3. Prison of Peter and Paul. 4. Coliseum. 5. Arch of Constantine. 6. Pilate Staircase.

Day 3 – THURSDAY (May 30): Rome – Vatican Museum. St. Peter’s Basilica. Jesuit Chiesa Gesu – Departure to Florenze 6pm. Arrival 9:30pm.

Day 4 – FRIDAY (May 31): – Visit of Florence 9am -12 pm Story of the Pre- Protestant Reformer Gerolamo Savonarola. Travel to Bobbio Pellice.

Day 5 – SABBATH (June 1): Sabbath in the Waldensian Valleys. Visit of Sibauld Monument. Bobbio Pellice Historic Waldensian Village. Free Afternoon. Gorgeous Hike in the Italian Alps.

Day 6 – SUNDAY (June 2): Church of the Cave (Chiesa Della Tana) - Cave where hundreds of were Martyred for their faith. College of the Barbes. Pra Del Torno – Secret Waldensian Bible School and Seminary. Story of Waldensian Missionaries with Waldensian Pastor Esteban Janavel.

Day 7 – MONDAY (June 3): Reformation Wall and Calvin’s Church. Reformation Museum. School. Afternoon hike in the French Alps to see the view of legendary Mt. Blanc – the highest peak in Europe.

Day 8 – TUESDAY (June 4) – Departure to Basel. Visit John Andrew’s grave. After lunch travel to Zurich – site of Ulrich Zwingli’s Reformation – Visit of Anabaptist martyrdom sites in Zurich.

Day 9 – WEDNESDAY (June 5): City of Konstanz. Visit of a former Dominican Monastery Inselhotel where Jan Hus and Jerome of Prague were detained. Visit of execution place where Jan Hus was martyred. Visit of Hus museum. After lunch, departure to Worms, Germany.

Day 10 – THURSDAY (June 6): Visit of Worms, Germany, where Luther defended his faith before the Emperor. After lunch, visit of Wartburg Castle where Martin Luther was hiding from persecution and where he translated the Bible in German.

Day 11 – FRIDAY (June 7): Erfurt, city where Luther went to College and Monastery. Tour of Weimar, Germany - an important site of German Culture and former capital city of Germany. Luther and J. S. Bach lived there. Visit of the Johann Sebastian Bach organ.

Day 12 – SABBATH (June 8): Spending Sabbath at the Friedensau Adventist College near Wittenberg. Worship. Singing. Lunch. Free time afternoon and evening.

Day 13 – SUNDAY (June 9): Departure to Luther’s City - Wittenberg. Visit of Castle Church. The 95 Thesis Door. Tour of the Luther Museum. Departure to Berlin

Day 14 – MONDAY (June 10): Visit of Brandenburg Gate. German Museum. Luther Effect Exhibition. Pergamum Museum. Evening farewell dinner.

Day 15 – TUESDAY (June 11)- Departure. Drop off at the Berlin Airport.
