Prestatyn Town Centre Hello all, I’m PCSO 2843 Tim Parker from the Prestatyn SN T. I have been in Prestatyn for around 2 years and PCSO 2843 am responsible for the High Street Tim PARKER and Retail Park areas.

Christmas and New Year have been and gone and it’s time to welcome in 2017. I am pleased to say that it was a very busy couple of weeks for the stores and retail outlets in Prestatyn and thankfully the festive period came and went with very little crime and disorder. It was achieved by a joint partnership between the local businesses of Prestatyn and the local policing team which reduced overall crime and demand on the Register your property emergency services. This joint working has resulted in for FREE and improve your chances of getting it back a great reduction in incidents reported to North Wales if it is lost or stolen. Police from the retail park alone with that being a 12.1% reduction based on the previous year. This was mirrored in the crime statistics too from the retail park in that recorded crime is down by 7.3% compared to the preceding twelve months. I hope you will agree that this is a great result and long may it continue. We have been out on the retail park and the High Street everyday engaging with members of the public and the stores alike and this will continue throughout the coming year.

Our ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ surgeries will continue in Mark & Spencer’s and dates have been set for the next few months so keep an eye on our Facebook page for dates and times. Also we will be holding Crime Just tell us what you know, not Prevention stands at Prestatyn. These are aimed who you are at home security and personal safety when out and Call about crime anonymously about, again dates and times will be published on our Facebook page.

That’s it for now hope you all have a safe and prosperous 2017.
