If anyone is going to the USA please send any reports in to Moray - with nearly all the military shows now cancelled and virtually no military participation at the civil shows it is going to be a very bare summer season for the military spotter in the USA. So please, no matter how small the report is’ send it off to Moray! On the UK front we Mick would really like to hear from anyone who can send in regular reports each month for some of our major bases - these are Marham, Lossiemouth and Valley where we hardly get any reports from for visitors and now we even have problems with Waddington and getting regular reports from there! So, if anyone can help (or even send in occasional reports as they all add up to a bigger and better picture) please contact Mick or myself (see details above for addresses and email addresses). With all the US Budget cut backs for Fiscal Year 2013 now beginning to bite - there are major reductions in flying hours throughout Air Combat Command with many suadrons being Stood down since April 9th through to the end of the current year in September (although quite what happens then I am not too certain! The complete list of squadrons subject to standing down orders will be in the May issue of @MAR along with all the other news from the UK, the USA, Europe and the rest of the world - if you would like to see a sample copy of MAR visit www.mar.co.uk or contact me direct at [email protected].
