DAY 3: LONDON Visit Pax Lodge WAGGGS Centre in the leafy North London area of Hampstead. Share in the sisterhood of Girl Scouts, participate in a pinning ceremony and experience unique Girl Scout programming. – Ride the London Eye. – Take a Thames River cruise.
DAY 4: LONDON – Take an expertly guided tour of London: Big Ben and Houses of Parliament; Piccadilly Circus; St. Paul’s Cathedral; Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (if scheduled).
DAY 5: LONDON | PARIS – In the morning, travel by a Eurostar train to Paris, the City of Light. During your stay you’ll get a taste of Parisian style as you ride down the Champs-Élysées, an elegant boulevard packed with high-fashion boutiques. Pass the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe and strike a pose in front of the Eiffel Tower. At the École Militaire, see where a promising young Napoleon launched his rise to power. I.M. Pei’s iconic glass pyramid marks the entrance to the renowned Louvre, home to treasures like Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. – Take a walking tour of Paris: Latin Quarter. – Catch a glimpse of Notre-Dame Cathedral.
DAY 6: PARIS – Take an expertly guided tour of Paris: Place de la Concorde; Champs-Élysées; Arc de Triomphe; Les Invalides; Eiffel Tower. Visit Versailles.
DAY 7: PARIS – Visit the Louvre.
DAYS 8-9: ADELBODEN – Travel to Adelboden. Visit Our Chalet WAGGGS Centre in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery while you participate in a pinning ceremony and unique Girl Scout programming.
Caption DAY 10: LUCERNE – Travel to Lucerne, where the majestic Swiss Alps rise behind the shores of Lake Lucerne and provide the stunning backdrop to one of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities. You’ll see the moving Lion Monument, a sandstone statue commemorating the 3 Swiss Guards slain in the 1792 Paris storming of the Tuileries. Follow Lucerne’s winding cobbled streets past fairy-tale houses to the Chapel Bridge. Stroll along this covered bridge, which dates back to medieval days, and admire the colorful murals 3 overhead. You’ll have the option to join an excursion that takes you up Mount Pilatus. There, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular 2 1 panoramic views of Lucerne. – Take a tour of Lucerne. – Participate in the Swiss Alps experience. 2 – Enjoy a Swiss Folklore evening.
