ITINERARY August 15 – St. Moritz / Bernina Express Excursion to Tirano, Italy August 8 – Depart Omaha Take the Bernina Express train (a UNESCO World Heritage Today, meet us at one of our many convenient pick-up Site) to Tirano and back for one of Europe’s most spectacular points, where we make our way to Omaha’s Eppley Airfield and breathtaking train rides. Travel across lofty Bernina Pass and connect to our overnight flight to Zurich, Switzerland. via the Swiss Poschiavo area to Tirano in the Italian Valtellina, witnessing an array of beautiful mountain streams, glaciers, August 9 – Arrive in Zurich, Switzerland and alpine scenery along the way. (B) Upon arrival, we check into our hotel with the rest of the day free for you to explore Zurich on your own. Tonight, meet August 16 – St. Moritz / Zurich your Local Tour Director and enjoy time with your fellow Leave St. Moritz for the journey back to Zurich. Enjoy some travelers at dinner. Lucerne is one of Switzerland’s most idyllic to the United States. Upon arrival in Omaha, say goodbye to medieval cities, surrounded by a beautiful lake and nestled your fellow travelers as you arrive back at your initial pick-up amidst snow-capped Alps. Scenic Switzerland by Train by Scenic Switzerland An included excursion takes you to famous Gornergrat, traveling on board Europe’s highest rack railway. The views from its summit are spectacular. The rest of the day is at leisure in Zermatt, with a variety of interesting shops, cafes, bars, and narrow streets to explore. (B)
