[email protected] Abstract The olive domestication in the mediterranean basin is 40-45 thousand years before, also in the same era on both sides of the Ionian and Adriatic coast. In Albania, Olive resources constitute a valuable source of food and historically are considered sacred, a blessed tree, a symbol of joy and victories, ritual of folk culture and tradition. This study was conducted over three years and was aimed at exploring the agrotouristic qualities of olive and oil, in two regions of olive populations, in the Adriatic and Ionian areas. The method has consisted, through some on-line surveys, disseminating and gathering information on old trees and old oil objects through; mob, mail, Viber, WhatsApp etc. The collected information is computerized and analyzed in situ and identified old individuals, mills and other ancient objects. Old objects have been observed and conform to the terms, of which 35 older trees, 6 mulls and 8 castles have been selected, who are over 2500 years old. Some individuals are over 3,000 years old, ie the first millennium BC, and together with the forts symbolize ancient Illyrian culture. The quality of old tree oil is superior and there are many popular traditions of treating many diseases. According to the old tradition of processing it results that 10-15% of the oil is of extraordinary curative value.
