July 9th- August 4, 2020- our General Manager 2 EEO Training for Management Level Personnel participated in a training series “Foundations in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” from Adaway Consulting, a program developed for Gray Television. Information covered in this training included: how biases influence interaction and decision making and way to mitigate them, how to identify and avoid implicit bias and microaggression in media, how to champion equity and inclusion, handling conflict, how to avoid common faux pas made regarding: gendered language, race, class and ability, how to apologize effectively EEO Training for Management Level Personnel 3 November 19, 2020 Our Office Manager and EEO Coordinator participated in a webinar on the FCC’s EEO Rules and Regulations provided by Joan Stewart of Wiley Rein, LLP to employees of Gray Television Licensee, LLC.

May 19, 2020 4 Additional Training Initiatives Our EEO Coordinator participated in Diversity: It’s not just Black and White, presented by The Fitzpatrick

Group with the Ohio Association of Broadcasters. A unique session developed specifically for staff from radio and television stations. The virtual session looks at the challenges and opportunities we all face today in valuing diversity and explores how we all share in the responsibilities of fostering equitable and inclusive work cultures.

Covered topics ranging from how news is produced, where story ideas come from to how news decisions are made. .
