Contacting Movie Theaters • Call the theater and ask to speak with the person that handles their PSAs. If it’s a marketing company, ask for the company’s contact information. • Ask the individual who handles the PSAs if they would be willing to play the PSAs throughout National Recovery Month and then: o Request the email address to send the PSA to and complete the PSA request at: https://al-anon.org/media-kit/public-service- announcements/ o Encourage the theatre/marketing company to complete the PSA request at: https://al-anon.org/media-kit/public-service- announcements/ • Once PSAs are played, encourage local members to send thank you notes to the theatre (might encourage them to play them more often, plus it’s a kind thing to do.)
