EXECUTIVE SUMMARY 1.1 Introduction The proposed South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Power System Expansion Project (SPEP, the Project) is included in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Country Partnership Strategy 2010-2012 for Nepal, and the Country Operations Business Plan 2013-2015. The Project targets the strengthening and expansion of transmission and distribution systems that
