GALENA PARK – Jeremy Phillips, director of infrastructure for Precinct 2, presented an update of current de- velopment projects planned or under construction in the precinct to the CIP monthly meeting. CIP is the Commu- nity Industry Partnership. Phillips covered a broad range of projects, due to his responsibilities. In previous talks, Pct. 2 Commissioner Jack Morman has indicated that no one knows more about activity in the county than Phillips. You might ask “What is Infrastruc- ture?” His topics included planned highways and bridges, recovery efforts from Hurricane Harvey, Lynchburg Ferry operations, street paving projects, Quality of Life projects in- cluding parks and recreation, and more. A number of projects were spe- cific to the Galena Park area, which drew interest from the audience. Phillips started by talking about JEREMY PHILLIPS, HARRIS COUNTY PCT. 2 State Representative ANA HERNANDEZ is planning her campaign for the Texas Senate from the project that will cost the most, the District 6, currently held by Sylvia Garcia.
