True Parents’ Message and News English Version No. 48 天一國 6年 天曆 6 JULY 2018 ARTICLE ONE Let’s All March Forward Together with Hope By Eiji Tokuno he title of our July 1 rally on was “The 20,000-Person Rally for a Hope- ful March Forward of FFWPU for a Heavenly Japan in 2018.” We had only a month of preparation after we received official permission for it from True Mother. TIt commemorated the beginning of missionary work in Japan on July 15, 1958, when Rev. Choi Bong-choon arrived in Japan from Busan, Korea, dispatched by True Parents. It was the first rally in which we welcomed True Mother officially as Heavenly FFWPU-Japan after the change to a five sub-region structure. In addition, that True Mother effectively announced the start of the last half of 2018 from Japan to the entire world was significant. The rally’s main program had five key features. Needless to say, the most important feature was True Mother’s message. True Mother emphasized the importance of the blessing, which is to connect all 7.5 billion human beings to True Parents and asked all blessed families to succeed in the heavenly tribal messiah mission. The way to national restoration and world restoration will begin on the foundation of our heavenly tribal messiahs’ victories. True Mother requested that Japan invest for the sake of other countries with acknowledgment of the truths of history and as the Mother Nation, as mothers invest everything for their children without any regret or hesitation. True Mother also strongly requested that those in the first generation raise their children and grandchildren properly by bequeathing the first generation’s traditions of attending Heavenly Parent and True Parents, of keeping purity and of practicing for the ideal world within an ideal family. Furthermore, True Mother referred to the unification of North Korea and South Korea and pointed out that it will be accomplished not by human power but by God’s power when the leaders of countries concerned became united centered on God’s will. The second remarkable feature of the program was a speech by a third-generation Unificationist, grand- daughter of Rev. Ishii, ex-president of FFWPU-Japan. She made a wonderful and hopeful speech, saying that she respected her parents and grandparents and had resolved to realize Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ dream, thereby inheriting True Parents’ tradition. The third point was the performance by second-generation youth and students. A youth team from Na- goya performed an energetic dance and five hundred students and young adults from Region One vigorous- ly offered the “Mujokkon” dance to True Mother. They wished for True Mother to feel glad and to have hope for the future through their overwhelming performance. The fourth was the choir of 1,300 Japanese women who have been on the front lines of the Japanese mission until now and who sang True Mother’s favorite song “Violet Mugunhwa.” This, too, was emotional and in- spiring. The last remarkable thing was a choir of 3,000 middle-aged men. This significant performance, which expressed their resolve to arise as central figures in Japan’s providence from now on, was awe-inspiring. As mentioned above, woman members have leading roles in Japan’s providence until now, but this marked the beginning of new era when our members will carry out mission work as couples. True Mother appeared gladdened at seeing them and I think we were able to provide great hope to members throughout the world. We’re still preparing for 10,000-person youth rally in Tokyo on September 9 and a 5,000-person youth rally in Nagoya on October 21. We have just welcomed Sun Jin nim on behalf of True Mother and held a successful 10,000-person rally in Okayama. Mainly members in Okayama Prefecture organized and conducted it. We are determined to accomplish our mission and responsibilities as the Mother Nation, which should be in the position of reciprocal realm of True Mother’s heart and lead other children-nation remaining united with Korea and the United States in the positions of the Father and the Eldest-Son Nations, in order to respond to God’s expectation and wish.
