V Får Svensk Tv-Premiär På CANAL+ I Februari 2009-11-02 10:01 CET V får svensk tv-premiär på CANAL+ i februari Dags för den omtalade nya versionen av den legendariska science fiction- serien Det är dags för nya generationer att trollbindas av V - historien om främlingar som kommer till jorden med ont i sinnet. Hypen är stor inför den nya versionens amerikanska urpremiär den 3 november. Och redan i februari kommer inkräktarna från rymden till CANAL+! Legendariska V tar över tv-rutorna igen, i en ny version som tar vara på dagens enorma tekniska och visuella möjligheter. De som har åldern inne minns när V första gången kom till Sverige - året var 1986 och ryktet hade surrat länge, för det här var på den tiden man kunde få vänta i åratal innan tv-serierna nådde vårt land. V sågs först som miniserie i två delar, sedan kom ytterligare tre delar och därefter en tv-serie i nitton avsnitt. Alla pratade om utomjordingarna som såg ut som homo sapiens men plötsligt avslöjade sin sanna, mer fjälliga identitet och sina onda avsikter. Under åren har många drömt om att återskapa Kenneth Johnsons fenomen V, och till slut blev det Scott Peters ("The 4400"), Jeffrey Bell ("Alias"), Steve Pearlman och Jace Hall som tog sig an det ärofyllda projektet. Förhandssnacket om V årgång 2009 har varit intensivt och flera recensenter som sett pilotavsnittet är smått lyriska. Den 3 november premiärvisas det på ABC. Tre episoder till ses under månaden, och sedan gör serien ett uppehåll till mars 2010. När serien får sin svenska tv-premiär på CANAL+ följs det mönstret - fyra delar visas med start i februari 2010, och säsongens resterande nio delar ses senare under våren. Inledningen till V är sig lik - enorma rymdskepp ses plötsligt sväva över världens stora städer. På en rad språk kungör nykomlingarnas vackra, karismatiska ledare Anna att man har fred i sinnet. Utomjordingarna inleder en charmoffensiv som bland annat innebär att man erbjuder nya tekniska kunskaper och botar sjukdomar, och människornas respons är entusiastisk. Men en liten grupp klarsynta jordbor är misstänksamma och kontraspionage- agenten Erica Evans får reda på att besökarna under många år har infiltrerat regeringar och företag, med avsikt att få världsherravälde. De enleverar till och med hennes son Tyler, som lockas av den blonda utomjordingen Lisa. Erica går med i en motståndsrörelse där hon bland annat lär känna Ryan, en av inkräktarna som i hemlighet vill rädda människorna. Elizabeth Mitchell, som spelar Erica Evans, har vi bland annat sett i "Cityakuten", "House", "Lost", "Spin City", "Law & Order" och "CSI". Som hennes son Tyler ser vi Logan Huffman, som Ryan Morris Chestnut, och Laura Vandervoort från "Smallville" spelar Lisa. Morena Baccarin, som spelar besökarnas ledare Anna, är ett bekant ansikte från tv-serier som "Kitchen Confidential", "OC", "Las Vegas" och "Stargate SG-1". Scott Wolf ("Ensamma hemma", "Everwood") är den cyniske nyhetsreportern Chad Decker, som försöker göra sin lycka genom att få en exklusiv intervju med Anna. I övriga roller hittar vi bland andra Joel Gretsch och Lourdes Benedicto. V kommer från Warner som även producerade originalserien på åttiotalet. This paper’s authors—a music therapist and a music educator— engage in “genuine dialogue” (Buber, 1947/2002) as a “primary source of under- standing” (Garred, 2006, p. 105) in exploring the purpose of music within their respective disciplines. Through interrogating common conceptions of music, music education and music therapy, they propose that the theoretical and practical points of intersection between their fields are far broader in potential scope than is typically assumed, particularly within the current North American interdisciplinary discourse. Specifically, this paper’s authors present music-centered theoretical perspectives from the field of music therapy (Aigen, 2014) as providing a meeting place for transdiscip- linary dialogue and a renewed vision for the purpose of musical engagement, a fundamentally relational act. This perspective includes recognition of music’s “para- musical” affordances, a concept that challenges overly simplistic distinctions between “music itself” and its “nonmusical benefits” (Ansdell, 2014). This perspective reminds the music educator that it would be remiss to neglect the personal and relational affordances of the medium, while imploring the music therapist to resist reducing music to a mere tool for achievement of a nonmusical outcome, thereby neglecting the medium—the music—itself.
