An industry veteran of over 15 years, Brian Magallones is a true stylist-to-the stars. With a current roster of celebrity clientele that includes hair trendsetters Keri Russell, Brooke Shields, Naya Rivera, and Joss Stone, Magallones is one of the hottest hairstylists in the industry. Brian’s philosophy on hair encompasses a belief that beautiful hair is as much about confidence and self-esteem as it is about having a great style.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Brian moved to New York to pursue his life long dream of working in the beauty industry. He began his career as an assistant at the Brad Johns Salon in New York, and it was there that he gained invaluable styling experience and was able to really hone in on his skills. Constantly surrounded by the energy and inspiration of New York City, Brian emerged as a true star in the industry and began making house calls to socialites and celebrities within six months of beginning his career. After 2 years at the Brad Johns Salon, Brian began working as a stylist at the Oscar Blandi Salon. Shortly after his start at Oscar Blandi, Magallones was noted for his haircuts in not only Vogue, but also in Allure Magazine twice in the same year, including having the honor of being named one of the years "Best of the Best" in the country. This notoriety led to styling on editorial shoots, ad campaigns, and working very closely with celebrities. Soon, Magallones chose to leave the salon to try his hand on his own, and he never looked back. The opportunity to travel and see the world attracted Brian to the freelance lifestyle and he was immediately signed by agents in both New York and Los Angeles. He soon landed a highly coveted beauty contract as a spokesperson for Garnier Fructis, which has led countless television appearances and an exciting life filled with beauty.
