Australian born makeup artist Rosie Johnston has a career spanning more than ten years that has taken her all over the world, including London, Paris, New York, Sydney, and now Los Angeles. Rosie started experimenting with cosmetics at the tender age of ten, using the faces of anyone she could get her hands on!
Rosie studied makeup at the Makeup Academy in Sydney, Australia. After graduating at the top of her class, she took her talents to London where she honed her craft working with the Models of Storm Agency and finally landing her first celebrity client Kylie Minogue.
After spending two years in London, Rosie moved on to the brighter lights of Los Angeles and New York, working in film and TV with celebrities such as Calista Flockhart, Courtney Cox-Arquette, Portia De Rossi, and Poppy Montgomery. Although she loved working in TV, after three years Rosie craved the creativity and excitement of the photographic world. In 2002, Rosie made the transition into fashion and beauty after returning to her home country of Australia and working with celebrities Cate Blanchett, Guy Pearce, and Bec Cartwright. Rosie also started and launched her now international makeup line Rosie Jane Cosmetics.
Now permanently based in Los Angeles, Rosie Johnston continues to work with some of the biggest names in the business, while promoting her cosmetic line. Rosie’s fun and laidback attitude, along with her reputation for beautiful, natural makeup application, has her in high demand.
