PROBABLY THE BIGGEST SINGLE COMMUNITY EVENT OF THE YEAR! SOUTH MOLTON CARNIVAL Saturday September 28th The theme this year is SUPER HEROES, which is open to your interpretation. Fun and activity for all the family.

Come and join in the fun by participating in the procession. It is a great opportunity to showcase the products, services and activities of your business or organisation or just take part as a friendship group, family or individual. It is open to all age groups, the more the merrier and it is absolutely FREE! There are 7 different entry groups which will be judged and cups/certificates awarded. Entry Forms with rele- vant details are available from Webbers Estate Agents and The Rotary Shop in South Molton Square. The procession assembles in Southley Rd from 3.30pm and departs at 6pm. All entrants, if they wish to be judged, must register by 4pm. Entry is available at The Gazebo on Southley Rd from 3pm onwards. Entry is allowed after this but will not be judged. Even if you have submitted an entry form prior to the day you must register at The Gazebo on the day. If you are not intending to take part in the procession, there is still plenty to do before and after. In the Pannier Market there is the usual children’s fun fair, a bar and various fast food outlets. Musical enter- tainment in the procession itself and in Square. Please remember that the central area of the town will be closed to traffic from approximately 4pm, so make sure you access car parking in time.
