The Pannier Market at will be alive with the sights, sounds and smells of Exmoor on Friday 12th April. “Exmoor Day”, which aims to celebrate all things Exmoor, has already proved to be a popular event with the stalls being fully booked well in advance. As well as lots of artisan stalls to browse, there will be plenty of things to see and do, and of course, eat! Stalls include a range of talented photographers and artists, handmade items, plus home furnishings as well as antique furniture and glass engraving. Visitors to this free entry event won’t go hungry as there’s plenty to eat and drink too. John May Butchers will be providing a hog roast, plus Iced Delights will be there with their ice-cream tricycle serving locally made, delicious ice-creams. There will also be pies and preserves, chilli tasting, handmade chocolates and Exmoor’s own Wicked Wolf Gin will be served or available to buy by the bottle. Once you have browsed the stalls, come and meet the Ex- moor ponies, miniature donkeys and alpacas and find out about the amazing work that Havens 4 Hedgehogs and the UK Wild Otter Trust do.
