After all, 6/24-Kelly Bollinger maybe God’s patient, unconditional love has run its course 6/24-Mary Klug and He is finally fed up with humanity’s reluctance to 6/25-Jaden Kerner accept the truth about who we are. God really can’t be that 6/25-Hope Phillis patient! All throughout human history, many have prayed to God for intervention or for particular needs. Because their 6/25-Jonah Radzikinas prayers were not answered in the way they wanted or 6/26-Phillip Hoffmann anticipated, they felt that God may have abandoned them. 6/26-Madalyn Warzynski Were they right? It seems that we are continuing, at a rapid rate, down a path of destruction. Do you not care, God, that Happy we may be perishing? When the boats of our lives are Anniversary rocking and the seas tumultuous, we want to know that we 6/21-Ray & Faye Bednarek have God’s attention. Even more so, we want God’s 6/22-Brian & Ellen Martin intervention. 6/24-Vincent & Georgia Fitzgerald Maybe the storms and the waves are necessary. If 6/26-Ryan & Jenny Anason we listen, they can teach us valuable lessons. Without them, we would never learn that we have the strength to endure, If you are celebrating a special anniversary and would like understand the uselessness of fear and worry, or develop the your anniversary blessed during Mass, please call the ability to really trust. If God immediately rushed in and parish office. If you don’t see your special day listed, simply calmed things down before they got difficult, what please contact the parish office so we may update our good would that really be? We would miss opportunities to records. learn how to drink more deeply of life, treasure its complexity, irony, and beauty and fully engage ourselves in Come Pray the Rosary surrendering to the love of our Creator. It is easy to walk on All are invited to pray the Rosary in the surface of life without immersing ourselves in its Church every weekday Tuesday messiness. Life has to burn its way through us in order to Friday 15 minutes prior to the mass bring us to a place of secure trust. It’s unfortunate that some at Montello and Westfield Churches. prefer a shallower journey. That’s the balancing act that comes with faith. It is not God’s job to prevent us from encountering the torrential rains and winds of life. Many believe that if faith is done the Bulletin Deadline News right way, that God will provide for smooth sailing. That’s The deadline for making not how it works. God permits us to ride out the difficult contributions to the bulletin is stuff knowing that the storm will eventually be calmed.
