“Together We Aim Higher”

Principal Message

Welcome to Waikele Elementary School. It is an honor and privilege to serve and lead as your Proud Principal of this truly special place. My goal is to continue to build upon the rich learning environment and to ensure that every student succeeds in school and life. Our faculty and staff are committed to provide a relevant and rigorous education assuring all students are college, career, and citizenship ready through the effective use of standards-based instruction promoting 21st century learning skills.

Thank you all for your support over the past month, I am so impressed by the number of parents who have expressed their appreciation of our school, and acknowledge that we all have to work together to support our children.

I am excited about continuing our journey that is grounded by our core beliefs to support our mission and vision of our school. I plan on having a coffee hour soon to share and elaborate on the many exciting things planned for your children.

Thank you for your continued support. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at 677-6100 or simply stop by to say hello.

Sincerely,

Sheldon Oshio Principal
