INTERNATIONAL LURE COURSING COMPETETION

Admittance: All Sighthounds breeds (group 10) with a valid license card are admitted same as breeds from group 5 (limited to Pharao Hound, Cirneco dell’Etna, Podenco Ibicenco, Podenco Canario. There will be national runs for Podengo Portugues and Basenji and for Whippets and Italian greyhounds who don’t fullfill the requirements for height of the breeds according to FCI regulations 1.4.2.
Schedule: Saturday: Whippet international and national, Italian greyhound international and national, Azawakh, Cirneco dell’Etna, Podengo Portugues, Podenco Ibicienco, Podenco Canario, Basenji, Pharaoh Hound Sunday: Afghan hound, Irish wolfhound, Borzoi, Scottish deerhound, Chart Polski, Saluki, Greyhound, Sloughi, Magyar Agar, Galgo Espanol. Might be subject to change pending entry numbers. Changes will be announced on website: myndeklubben.dk April 25st and by PM.
Start time: At 8.30am. License must be handed to the secretary/check in between 07.00 and 08.00. Foreign dogs who have not participated in a competition or exhibition in Denmark, must submit a copy of the dog’s pedigree with license book.

Prices/awards: The three best dogs in every breed will be awarded. CACIL is given according to FCI regulations. To achieve CACIL, there must be shown documentation that the dog has achieved at least a VG on an international FCI exhibition. The documentation is handed with the license book at check in.
Awards ceremony: Half an hour after last run.
Muzzles: All dogs must wear muzzles when on the field. Participants must bring their own muzzles.
Racing jackets: Dogs must wear red or white racing jackets. The colour appear/will be indicated on the start lists.
Terrain: Grass fields with natural obstacles.
Limit of responsibility: Neither the race director nor its officials can be held responsible for damages on dog owners, dogs or officials. In addition, they have no responsibility to stray or runaway dogs. The owner of a dog is not responsible if his dog injures another dog during a race. In other cases the dog owner the full responsibility for his dog.
Doping: Every type of doping are forbidden according to FCI regulations 1.10 and regulations by Danish kennel club: https://www.dkk.dk/english/health-breeding/health/doping
Membership: The dog owner must be a member of the Danish sighthound club. Foreigner dog owners must be members of the equal foreign club.
Vaccinations: Dogs must be vaccinated against distemper and parvovirus. Dogs up until 24 months of age the vaccination cannot be more than 1 year old. For dogs more than 1 year, the vaccination must be less than 4 years old. First time vaccinations must have been done at least 14 days before the date of competition. A positive titertest that shows the dog is protected from distemper and parvovirus, equated with a vaccination. Documentation of vaccination must be brought. Foreign dogs must be vaccinated against rabies as well according to the regulations of Danish law.
Veterinarian: There will be a veterinarian according to the FCI regulations 1.2 and 7.4.
