Well, this ’63 Rambler had the oil filter in a place that was so hard to reach. The fil- ter had been on the car so long before I got it that it just wouldn’t budge. It actually started to cave in when I tried to change the filter. So, I just changed the oil and not the filter. Even though I attempted to do some good to help the car run better, I wasn’t doing everything I should have been doing. I wasn’t really receiving the full benefits of the oil change. When I think of that old Rambler and its stubborn oil filter, I always think of the Sacrament of Confession or Reconciliation. As Catholics we be- lieve that we receive special graces by coming to Mass, receiving Holy Communion, or receiving the other Sacraments such as Confirmation, or Holy Matrimony.
