Marianna was born and raised in the beautiful village of Hopfgarten. Her parents have a mountain farm on the Gruberberg. She attended the agricultural school Weitau, where she was trained as a farmer's wife. She then worked in various hotels, inns and ski lodges before becoming an educator in an entrepreneurial family. In 1990, love brought her to the Netherlands, where she has lived ever since.
