RE: Endorsement of Event for Liquor Licensing Purposes – 2018 TASTE OF LITTLE ITALY
The annual Taste of Little Italy will be taking place on June 15th, June 16th, and 17th 2018. We are anticipating 500,000 in attendance over the weekend.
The Taste of Little Italy Festival takes place on College Street from Shaw Street to Bathurst Street. As in previous years, we are requesting the closure of College Street from 6:00 p.m. on Friday June 15th to 3:00 a.m. on Monday June 18th, and all side streets in the closure area to the nearest laneway or to the rear of the College Street property.
The event hours of the Taste of Little Italy Festival are as follows;
Friday June 15th - 7:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. Saturday June 16th - 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. Sunday June 17th - 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
By this letter, we are requesting that the Toronto and East York Community Council declare the 2018 Taste of little Italy Festival an event of Municipal Significance as well as approve temporary liquor license/patio extensions for the following licensed establishments:
