THE CAMBRIDGE NEWCASTLE HISTORY OF THE CAMBRIDGE

The Cambridge Hotel is located in the West End of Newcastle’s CBD. It has been a feature of the live music touring scene for the past 50 years. The Cambridge has hosted some of the biggest and best acts Internationally, Nationally and locally.

Newcastle is the 7th largest city in and has a rich history in supporting the live music industry. With Newcastle undergoing a shift of people moving back into the CBD this is providing Newcastle with a rich and diverse range of cultures and age demographic which allows us to offer a wide variety of genres and styles of shows.

The Cambridge is located on Hunter St which is the main street of Newcastle. It is also located directly across the road from where the central public transport interchange is currently being built and with a car park and loads of off street parking it makes the Cambridge easily accessible for patrons.

The live music venue is undergoing a $300,000 reverb & main room capacity increase. LOCATION & FUTURE OF NEWCASTLE

EVENT STAFF (FIXED COSTS INCLUSIONS) : We provide a FOH operator and door person (This is a fixed cost of $250). A lighting operator can be booked, but will incur an additional cost. Early Load in can be arrange at $40 p/h.

RIDER : Hospitality riders are available from the venue and need to be negotiated / approved before the show. TICKETING

The Cambridge Hotel will operate its own ticketing system via Ticketbooth Australia and Big Tix Newcastle. A unique database will be collected for every artists who plays at The Cambridge Hotel.

MARKETING & PROMOTIONAL SUPPORT

Digital marketing campaigns will be designed & developed by the hotel to drive ticket sales for the artists.

$500 weekly social media support every week at the venue.

POSTERS weekly street team distribution, flyers, A2 / A3 / A4 / A0 sizes
