Sony Music Australia had plenty to cheer about at the 2017 ARIA Awards. Denis Handlin spoke to TMN about the label’s stellar year, and its immediate plans to take Aussie acts Gang of Youths and Amy Shark, to global heights. By Christie Eliezer

RADIO WRAP The biggest mover on the Hot 100 comes from Galantis & Throttle’s ‘Tell Me You Love Me’. On its ninth week in the chart, the slow burner is picking up some pace rising to #31 from #62. There’s only nine spins separating Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ and Camila Cabello’s ‘Havana’ at radio. While the gap is narrowing each week, Sheeran has managed to hold for another week on the Hot 100. Australian artists have surged up the spins charts in the aftermath of the ARIA Awards. Guy Sebastian’s ‘Bloodstone’ gained an extra 81 spins this week, while Peking Duk’s ‘Let You Down’ also saw an increase in spins.
