Assistant/Associate , Program (Ruskin, FL)

Gannon ’s Morosky College of Health and Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program at the Ruskin, Florida Campus is seeking applications for a full-time, 12-month tenure track position at the rank of Assistant/ to begin July 2017. Responsibilities of this appointment include teaching within the candidate’s area(s) of expertise, and professional scholarship and service derived from experience in clinical practice. Opportunities to participate in both local and international service-learning initiatives are available.

Qualified candidates will be expected to engage in scholarly activities in keeping with the Boyer Model of Scholarship as is appropriate to the application and receipt of tenure and promotion at Gannon. Successful candidates must have a doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., D.H.S., D.Sc., O.T.D., etc.) and be eligible for Florida state OT . Current clinical and teaching expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred: theoretical foundations, physical disabilities, community practice, and student-mentored research. Preference will also be granted to candidates who possess experience in teaching and higher , with a demonstrated commitment to research and service appropriate for appointment at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be able to support the University’s inclusive Mission, its Catholic Identity, and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.
