Recycling ’s Recycling Market Acceleration Package is a $30M program to drive demand for recovered organic materials and materials subject to Australia’s new waste export ban across the economy.

These are plastics, paper, cardboard, glass and tyres.

The package will be jointly delivered by the:

• Buloke Shire Council – redevelopment of a carpark using an asphalt mix that includes recycled glass and reclaimed asphalt pavement.

• Latrobe City Council – installation of an asphalt product containing recycled glass.

– rehabilitation of pavement with foam bitumen asphalt, with the base course made from recycled materials including glass, sand and aggregates.

– The City of Yarra and the University of Melbourne will construct an innovative permeable pavement that is made with recycled rubber and glass.
