1. The tender details can also be downloaded from website http://tntenders.gov.in till 3.00 p.m. on 21.09.2020for online bidding. The bidders must possess Digital Signature certificates for submission of bids through online in the above website. 2. Bids must be submitted online on or before 3.00 p.m. on 21.09.2020. Bids received online shall be opened on 22.09.2020at 3.30 p.m. in the office of Solid Waste Management Department (Head Quarter) in the presence of bidders who wish a participate tender. If the date of the opening happens to be a holiday, the bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue. 3. Subsequent Corrigendum / Addendum if any shall be only be available in website indicated above.

4. The Bidder shall furnish, as part of the Bid, a Bid Security (Earnest Money Deposit) given in column 3 of table 2 The Bid Security shall be either in the form of Demand Draft/ Banker’s cheque/Bank guarantee drawn from any Nationalized /Scheduled Bank in favour of the Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai ; specified small saving certificates (KV, SSC) ; or a challan by remitting cash into the Corporation Treasury, to the credit of deposits. which do not bear interest and should submit in the cover and drawn in favour of Commissioner and validity should be minimum 90 days.

5. The scanned copy of the EMD should be submitted on line through E-Tender. 6. The Corporation of Chennai has all rights to cancel tender without informing any reasons. 7. The Bids received after the due date and time as outlined in the table above will not be considered under any circumstances.
