He guided the 2009 squad to an 8-3 record, the Oct. 8 at Stillman 5 p.m. best mark in Benedict football history. Prior to coming to Bene- dict, Coach Conner’s spent 11 years at Alabama A&M, where Oct. 15 Clark Atlanta 2 p.m. he coached the secondary and running backs and served as Homecoming assistant head coach. Conner played at Jackson State, where he helped the team to three SWAC championships.
