What’s Going Down? 2021 Introduction We are delighted to present the 'What's Going Down' brochure 2021. “Following an unprecedented year of restrictions I am delighted that at the time of printing, life is returning to a little more normality and the council is able to promote and host a range of exciting events and promotions across the borough for a wide range of age groups. (*Subject to Government coronavirus restrictions permitting) One key date for the diary includes the return of the annual Snap Dragon Children’s Festival at Argents Mead 4 to 6 August, see page 5 for full details. The brochure is also packed with advice and ideas to help keep you all safe this summer. As the Children and Young People’s Champion it has been remarkable to witness how resilient our young people have been during the pandemic, but what a pleasure to see them returning to school, being able to socialise with friends again and getting back out in the community. We hope you find this brochure of interest; I am sure you will find something for everyone. However please follow all remaining coronavirus guidelines, keep yourself, your family and friends safe. Enjoy the summer.” Councillor Robin Webber-Jones Children & Young People’s Champion Whilst every effort has been made to verify entries, Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the data. Anything referred to in this brochure should not be relied upon as a recommendation or endorsement by the council of the nature or quality of services or facilities.
