How to get to the field chapel

From Cologne: Leave highway A1 from Cologne to Trier at exit Euskirchen / Wisskirchen. Turn right on B266 towards Kommern. Take the first possible exit after 600m left towards Satzvey. Take third exit at roundabout and follow signs towards Satzvey. Drive through the village and cross the railroad-tracks. After 100 m turn left, pass under the motorway. After 100 m turn right towards Lessenich. In Lessenich turn left towards Wachendorf. After 2 km you reach the village of Wachendorf. Follow the signs to parking for "Bruder Klaus Kapelle."

From Bonn / Euskirchen: Drive from Euskirchen towards Bad Münstereifel (B 51). Pass the villages of Rheder and Kreuzweingarten. At the traffic lights about 1km after Kreuzweingarten turn right towards Kalkar and Antweiler (L11). Pass the village of Kalkar. In Antweiler follow the signs to Wachendorf. The car park for "Bruder Klaus Kapelle" is signposted.

From Aachen / Düren Follow the B56 from Düren to Zülpich and the B477 from Zülpich towards Mechernich. In Mechernich-Kommern turn left onto the B266 towards Euskirchen. At the first traffic light, turn right towards Firmenich. Follow the signs to Satzvey. In the centre of the village of Satzvey turn right onto Gartzemer Straße, cross the railway tracks and turn left into the direction Antweiler / Bonn. Follow that road until the junction for L11 to Wachendorf. The car park for "Bruder Klaus Kapelle" is signposted.

Please park your car in the signposted car park only. There are no parking facilities closer to the chapel. The residents will appreciate it.
