On Friday, September 18, 1998, at the Mann Music Center, Riverdance the Show was perfonned in front of an enthu siastic crowd. Riverdance the Show has gone thr.ough several changes over the past fours years. It was only three short years ago that Michael Flately and Jean butler were performing in front of a sold out crowd in Dublin. Today Riverdance has expanded from one show into three sepa rlite troupes: Lee Troupe, Liffey Troupe, and the Lagan Troupe. The Lee Troupe is mostly based in the US and was in Philly at the Mann Music Center during ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY September. The crowd arrived in the lots about six o'clock, two hours before the show was to start.
