The NEXUS II building is the facility offered to ECMWF for exclusive use. It is an independent building designed by one of Spain's most internationally recognised architects, Ricardo Bofill. The building has a ground floor and three floors, plus a basement floor with a car park and services. Work stations can be reached by the lift or stairs. The building will undergo extensive renovation to fulfil all the requirements of the ECMWF facility and the certification and protection measures for pandemics.
