TEEN Setup: • Teams consist of 6 players. • Innings are 12 overs per team. • A pink soft cricket ball and plastic stumps with a rubber based will be provided. • Games will be played on a pitch length of 20 m. • Boundaries will be 30m from the striker’s wicket. Batting: • Batters bat for 12 balls and then retire • If a batter is given out o they continue to bat, and 2 runs are deducted from their score • Batters may be given out: bowled, caught, or run out o A batter cannot be out LBW (leg before wicket) or stumped • All extra’s are scored towards the batter Bowlers: • Bowl 2 overs of (capped at 6 balls) • There are no extra deliveries for a wide or no-ball • A “wide” is a ball that: o passes down the legside without being hit o passes down the legside and cannot be reached by the batter • Batters are awarded 2 runs for a wide plus any runs (including boundaries) made • A “no ball” is a ball that: o bounces above the batter’s shoulder o bowled on the full above the batter’s waist • If a no ball is bowled a batter cannot be given out bowled or caught • Batters are awarded 2 runs for a no ball plus any runs (including boundaries) made Fielders: • No fielder can stand within 10 metres of the batters except for the wicketkeeper • Fielders and the wicket keeper do not need to rotate around different fielding positions Scoring: • Scores are recorded in the CriqHQ App • No balls and wides are worth 2 runs and scored towards the batter • For each wicket lost, the batting team loses 2 runs • The team with the highest total at the end of the game will be the winner Competition points: • 3 points for a win 2 for a draw and 1 for a loss
