Furthermore, it can accumulate organic nitrogen in the soil due to nitrogen fixation. On the territory of the forest-steppe zone of Urals (Bashkortostan) in small plot experiments in homogeneous soil conditions during five years the elements of yield structure of four cultivars of common bean (Gornal, Ufimskaya, Zolotistaya and Elsa) were studied. In different soil and climatic conditions the distribution character (skewness) of seed production and nodule activity were compared. Сorrelations between agro-meteorological fac- tors, nodules number and productivity were determined. In one of these experiments there were watering and using of start doses of fertilizers (PK)45. The remaining experiments were carried out in a natural agricultural background without irrigation. The seeds yield of local cultivars (Gornal, Ufim- skaya, Zolotiataya) in homogeneous soil conditions on leached chernozem (Ufa district) ranged from 18 to 22 kg/ha.

The full criteria for considering persons to be political prisoners are published on our website. As individuals persecuted in connection with the realization of the right to freedom of religion make up about a half of the total number of political prisoners in Russia, and as their cases of persecution have much in common, their names are compiled in a separate list. None of the individuals on the list used violence, called for violence or planned violent acts. There are 66 individuals named in the list we publish today. Presently, it contains only the names of Muslims, a majority of whom have been accused of participating in the organization of Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami. This list is far from complete. It includes only those individuals and cases for which we have managed to collect and analyze sufficient information for a convincing conclusion to be drawn about the politically motivated and illegal nature of a criminal prosecution. At the present time the list does not contain the names of a large number of people who have been deprived of their liberty, and whose prosecution contains indications of illegality or political motivation, but for whose cases we have either not yet received the required information, or have not yet fully analyzed the information.

CHAPTER 3 RUS SIAN RAP IN THE ERA OF VLADIMIR PUTIN Philip Ewell T has always held a special place in the hearts of Rus sians. From the poetry recitations by Evgeny Evtushenko in the s that lled stadiums to the inspired lyr ics of Rus sian bards like Vladimir Vysotsky, Rus sians have sought not only beauty but also repose in artistic literary forms. is is not sur- prising given Rus sia’s troubled po liti cal history over the centuries, which reached its height in the twentieth century with the repressive Soviet era. Countless vol- umes have been written over the years on censorship in the USSR and on the ensuing balancing act that Soviet artists endured at the hands of the authorities. at Soviet and post- Soviet Rus sian rappers felt that same repression is not in doubt. What sets rap, as a genre, apart from other literary forms in Rus sia is its place in time: It really took hold only in the early s, immediately aer the fall of the Soviet Union, so one cannot speak of rap, as a genre, in uencing po liti cal events in the USSR. ough one could argue that the rst rap in Rus sia was “Rap” from by the group Chas Pik, an unabashed rip- o of e Sugarhill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight” from — widely recognized as the rst commercial rap hit ever—it was not until the s that Rus sian rappers and rap groups such as Bog- dan Titomir, Liki MC, Bad Balance, and Mal’chishnik became widely known in the former Soviet Union and, with them, the rap genre itself.

#Russianrapisracist vs #RussianNaziPurgeParty: On Geopolitics, Trolling and the Mistranslation of Race in a Twitter Controversy Dinara Yangeldina Introduction I am currently being trolled by Russian rap fans in droves posting straight up Nazi propaganda. The Russian hip hop scene is extremely racist. It’s being led by racists like @sdthaking and i1official (@Talib Kweli 2020)1 The above tweet was posted at the end of February 2020 in the middle of a heated Twitter controversy between famous us rapper Talib Kweli and the Russian hip-hop community, in which he described the en- tire Russian rap scene as racist, Nazi and state sponsored.2 Thе scandal quickly spread to other social media platforms and got extensive cover- age online and even on the official Russian tv channels. But what exactly 1 In the wake of a harassment-related scandal Talib Kweli was permanently banned from Twitter on 4 July 2020. It is for this reason that none of his original Tweets are available anymore. The retypes of tweets are based on screenshots circulated in sec- ondary sources or collected by me during the initial stage of research for this chapter (the same applies to Twitter screenshots used here but not available in the original to reference). 2 Talib Kweli is a rapper known for his outspoken activist stance against police bru- tality and racial oppression in the usa. His early recognition is linked to the criti- cally acclaimed band Black Star, which he formed together with Mos Def in 1997 in Brooklyn, New York. This style of hip-hop, known as conscious hip-hop, is usually juxtaposed with gangsta rap.

K.G. Razumovsky, Zemlyanoy val st., 73, 109004, Moscow, Russia Abstract. The issues of renovation of industrial territories in single industry towns on the basis of industrial parks at the current stage are considered in this paper. The development of a new service industry - industrial parks – has started in Russia less than 10 years ago and gradually acquires a systemic character. However, the gap with the countries of America, Europe and Asia remains very significant. Dozens of new initiatives to create industrial parks of various forms of ownership have appeared in Russia in recent years. However, most areas of Russian industrial parks remain vacant against the backdrop of existing unmet demand for prepared sites and related services for the location of manufacturing plants. One of the main problems of the industry is that the quality of many industrial park projects announced in the country does not meet the requirements of investors - potential residents. 1 Introduction The issues of renovation of industrial territories are highly relevant for many Russian towns. In the conditions of the necessity to search for new drivers for the economic growth of towns, to improve the quality of the urban environment, and to increase the efficiency of the use of urban areas, an important task of finding and elaborating of innovation models for the development of industrial zones arises.

A new euselachian shark from the early Permian of the Middle Urals, Russia ALEXANDER O. IVANOV, CHRISTOPHER J. DUFFIN, and SERGE V. NAUGOLNYKH Ivanov , A.O., Duffin, C.J., and Naugolnykh, S.V. 2017. A new euselachian shark from the early Permian of the Middle Urals, Russia. Acta Palaeontologica Polonica 62 (2): 289–298. The isolated teeth of a new euselachian shark Artiodus prominens Ivanov and Duffin gen. et sp. nov. have been found in the Artinskian Stage (Early Permian) of Krasnoufimskie Klyuchiki quarry (Sverdlovsk Region, Middle Urals, Russia). The teeth of Artiodus possess a multicuspid orthodont crown with from four to nine triangular cusps; prominent labial projection terminating in a large round tubercle; distinct ornamentation from straight or recurved cristae; oval or semilu- nar, elongate, considerably vascularized base; dense vascular network formed of transverse horizontal, ascending, short secondary and semicircular canals. The teeth of the new taxon otherwise most closely resemble the teeth of some prot- acrodontid and sphenacanthid euselachians possessing a protacrodont-type crown, but differ from the teeth of all other known euselachians in the unique structure of the labial projection. The studied teeth vary in crown and base morphol- ogy, and three tooth morphotypes can be distinguished in the collection reflecting a moderate degree of linear gradient monognathic heterodonty. The range of morphologies otherwise displayed by the collection of teeth shows the greatest similarity to that described for the dentitions of relatively high-crowned hybodontids from the Mesozoic. The internal structure of the teeth, including their vascularization system is reconstructed using microtomography. The highest chon- drichthyan taxonomic diversity is found in the Artinskian, especially from the localities of the Middle and South Urals.
