According to him, there is a “war room” in which all weekly data is tracked and analyzed. The data is then used to set goals for schools. The Student Advisory Committee, or SAC, is a student committee made up of 30 hand- selected students, President sophomore Lindsey Sharp, and Vice President junior Logan Leiter. This committee was created last year by Principal Dr. Neal Brown III to gather information collectively on the student body. Once a month the students meet up and discuss topics such as the curriculum, athletics, school spirit, and the student handbook. Brown has specifically asked these students to tell him the absolute truth about their school. Within this large group of 30 members, they have also created sub committees. These sub committees focus just specifically on certain topics. The students of SAC bring in their own input to the table, informing Brown any of their thoughts and feelings. Only positive feedback has resulted since the committee’s been created. For example, last year’s committee brought in some very beneficial input on the iPads.
