Two NCP car parks are situated nearby. Public transport links For travelling within London, use the Transport for London journey planner http://www.tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/ By underground/air The nearest tube station is Holborn (Piccadilly and Central Lines). When you leave Holborn station, turn left into Kingsway. Follow the road down and take the 3rd street on the left - Sardinia Street. The RCS building is on the right with big pillars. Temple tube station (District and Circle Lines) is a 10 minute walk away, When you leave Temple station, turn left and head up the stairs. Go straight on to Arundel Street. This street turns slightly left and becomes Aldwych. Turn right on to Kingsway. Follow the road down and take the 2nd street on the right - Sardinia Street. The RCS building is on the right with big pillars. By bus A number of buses stop near the College, for more details download the map at the Transport for London web site. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/maps/bus By rail The nearest stations are Kings Cross St. Pancras, Euston, Waterloo and Charing Cross. They are each a short taxi or underground journey, or about 20-30 minutes walk to the College. Parking Visitors should be aware that both Westminster and Camden councils operate parking bays around the Fields. Please check the signs carefully when you park to determine which borough you are parked in and ensure you purchase a ticket from the correct pay and display machine. The nearest multi-storey car parks are in Drury Lane and Bloomsbury Square. The College has a dedicated parking space for use by disabled visitors. Please book this space in advance by calling Reception on 020 7869 6400. Blue Badge holders can park in marked bays for up to 4 hours, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.30pm, and without time limit outside these hours. As a Blue Badge holder you are also entitled to park at a meter/pay-and- display bay for an extra hour once the paid time has expired. On street parking is available outside the College on Lincoln's Inn Fields.

Alternatives for those times are given at the end of the relevant entries below. Start: Holborn Tube Station on the Central and Piccadilly Lines. Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours • At the top of the escalators turn right to exit the station onto High Holborn. Turn right, and second right at the end of the row of shops, back on yourself, into Little Turnstile. Follow this round and turn left then right at the end, into Gate Street. This leads straight ahead into Lincoln’s Inn Fields. • Stay on the right hand side to see No. 58 Lincoln’s Inn Fields. This was Mr. Tulkinghorn’s house in Bleak House, where he was murdered. (In real life it was the home of Dickens’s friend John Forster. Dickens is said to have based Mr Podsnap in Our Mutual Friend on John Forster – in a very unflattering portrait.) Betsey Trotwood’s lodgings in London, in David Copperfield, were described as being in “a kind of private hotel at Lincoln’s Inn Fields, where there was a stone staircase, and a convenient door in the roof; my aunt being firmly persuaded that every house in London was going to be burnt down every night.” • Cross the road opposite No. 58, into the park, and go straight ahead to the far end. S1 to S2 Tables S1 Materials and Methods The currently available data (as of 31 March 2020) on COVID-19 morbidity and mortality for different NHS Hospital Trusts in London were utilized in this study [23,18]. The Office of National Statistics (A Baker, personal communication, 2020) confirmed that they are unable to provide COVID-19 related fatality data categorized by each London borough or local authority. To this end, the deaths reported by individual NHS Hospital Trusts in London were employed to inform the reported deaths for each London borough. The fatality rate across each London borough was estimated by dividing the number of reported deaths by the number of reported positive COVID-19 cases. Due to the unavailability of data, this study does not include the number of people who are self-isolating due to COVID-19 within the analysis. The air pollution data associated with particulate matter (PM2.5) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) for each London borough was collected from [24]. An ecologic analysis was conducted to explore the correlation between short-term air pollution (PM2.5 and NO2 levels) and COVID-19 cases and fatality rate in each London borough. To this end, a linear regression model was fitted to the data for regions with more than 100 reported cases and 10 COVID-19 related deaths.
