This closes off the named locations to all commercial salmon fishing effective mid May when the Sockeye net season com)llences.

No . 3 Sarita Bay - Effective mid May on commencement of Sockeye net fishery, boundary in effect from a fishing boundary sign located on the south end of Santa Maria Island north to a boundary sign located on the shore of Sarita Bay approx •• 4 miles north west from the mouth of Carnation Creek. This boundary applies until the Sockeye net fishery is completed approx. August 1st. At this time the following boundary applies for the duration of the salmon season - that is, all waters of Sarita Bay lying inside of boundary signs commencing at the south end of Santa Maria Island thence to Hosie Island thence to the south end of Congreve Island.

No. 4 On commencement of the mid-May Sockeye net fishery the waters of the Alberni Inlet are closed - usually north of a line from Pocahontas Point to a point directly across the Alberni Inlet where a boundary sign is established. As the sockeye net season progresses, this boundary is subject to some movement - up or down (seaward) the Inlet as the case may be. If this boundary is extended north to Hocking Point then the normal stream mouth and Bay boundaries in the Inlet apply - i.e. the waters of Nahmint Bay protected by signs established at the outer extremities of the Bay. All the waters of , Indian Arm and Burrard Inlet are closed to all commercial salmon fishing as per the B.C. Fishery Regulations, i.e. northerly and easterly of a straight line from Gower Point to the most southerly point of Popham Island, thence in a straight line to the most southerly point of Worlcombe Island, thence in a straight line to Cape Roger Curtis, thence in a southeasterly direction to Point Grey Fairway Gas and Bell Buoy, thence in a straight line to the most we sterly point of Point Grey.
