The female is re-described from a collection large enough (n = 67) to examine morphometric variations. The measurements of female morphological characters collected from Iran are compared with those given in the original description from Armenia. A key to the species of Transeius recorded from Iran is also given. Key words: Iran, Male, Phytoseiidae, Re-description, Transeius avetianae Introduction Phytoseiid mites are predators of spider mites and other small mites and insects. Some species also feed on nematodes, fungal spores, pollen and exudates from plants, but rarely plant tissue (Chant 1985, 1992; Overmeer 1985). Several members of this family are of great importance in the biological control of spider mites and thrips in greenhouse crop production (Gerson et al. 2003; Zhang 2003). The Phytoseiidae is a large family with worldwide distribution. About 2300 species belonging to over 90 genera are known in the world (Beaulieu et al. 2011; Chant & McMurtry 2007). -

The growing urban community, driven by the extraordinary growth of population and migration, has led to unplanned and unsustainable urban development, creating many changes in their spatial development. (Bartonet, 2003: 18). At the same time, one of the factors influencing on the problems of urbanization and urbanism is the lack of attention to the spatial effects of economic policies in the countries; the lack of a logical connection between the distribution and allocation of investments with the factor of space and location on the one hand and Distribution of resources, on the other hand, involves unwanted spatial effects, including imbalances in the distribution of facilities and inequalities of income between regions and the tendency to focus on one or more limited points. Due to the importance of the role that middle cities can play, the need for research around it is felt more and more. In this research Iranshahr has been studied in Sistan and Baluchestan, the city has a heterogeneous development. -
To Identify Zanjan Food and Beverage Clusters
Sustainability Today 261 To identify Zanjan food and beverage clusters S. Hagh Nazari Agriculture Faculty of Zanjan University, Iran Abstract Nowadays, industrial clusters have attracted the public attention in some parts of the world. The main power in the cluster is due to the creation of potential jobs, the same factor in the past to promote small industries, especially in the food and beverage field. In addition, the success of these clusters indicates the competitive ability of small and medium-sized companies in global markets. In this project, a new method was used called analysis of geographic information for identifying food and beverage factories in Zanjan Province. For this purpose, initially, SMEs were specified in Zanjan Province with 99 to 100 percent development and employment for 3 to 200 people in the mentioned field. So the fast and more accurate general perceptions resulted in the current status of industry-specified locations, how their distribution was carried out, the changes to economic factors over time, and future forecasts. In the next stage the geographic information of SMEs was obtained and analyzed. The nearest neighbour determination method was used to detect the acceptable scattering rate of industrial clusters. The results of the study showed that food and beverage cluster was in the third category of importance in the province after textile and electrical machinery clusters. So, in the future, based on the capabilities and guidance and support, the food and beverage clusters will grow. Keywords: food clusters, geographic information, industrial clusters. 1 Introduction In most industrialized countries, the importance of small industries has been accepted as a reality, increasing their share of industrial production and job creation, and increasing the approach to economic change and small units of production and employment. -

Therefore, a study on the fauna of superfamily Raphignathoidea in Zanjan city was carried out during 2012–2013. In this survey, 23 species belonging to 8 genera from 4 different families were collected and identified. Among them male of Stigmaeus shabestariensis Haddad Irani-Nejad, Lotfollahi & Akbari, 2010 was recorded for the first time from Zanjan, Iran and was new report to Acari fauna of the world, and also S. shabestariensis Haddad Irani-Nejad Haddad Irani-Nejad, Lotfollahi & Akbari, 2010 was the abundant mite species in Zanjan vicinities in our collected specimens. Introduction Many species of the superfamily Raphignathoidea Kramer (Acari: Prostigmata) are predators of spider and eriophyoid mites and scale insects in agriculture and forestry (Gerson et al. 2003). They were found in various ecosystems such as foliages, branches, trunks, mosses and lichens, litter, soils, animal nests, stored products and even in house dusts (Doğan 2006). The Raphignathoidea comprises 57 genera in 11 families including Barbutiidae, Caligonellidae, Camerobiidae, Cryptognathidae, Dasythyreidae, Eupalopsellidae, Homocaligidae, Mecognathidae, Raphignathidae, Stigmaeidae and Xenocaligonellididae (Fan & Zhang 2005). -

Res., 19(2): 123-156, 2013 WEED POPULATION INDICES IN IRRIGATED WHEAT FIELDS OF ZANJAN PROVINCE OF IRAN Seyed Hossien Nazer Kakhki1*, Mehdi Minbashi Moeini2, Sirous Hassan Nejad3, Hossien Jafary1 and Maryam Aleefard4 ABSTRACT In order to identify and determine the abundance of weed species in irrigated wheat fields of Zanjan province, Iran, 128 wheat fields in seven counties during 2000 to 2008 were investigated. With counting weed species in each sampling quadrate, population indices were calculated. In each field longitude, latitude and elevation were recorded using GPS (global positioning system). These data were used for producing weed species maps in irrigated wheat fields in Zanjan province. Results showed that 97 weed species were observed within irrigated wheat fields. The most important broadleaved weed species were knotweed (Polygonum aviculare L.), bedstraw (Galium tricornatum Dandy.) and salsify (Tragopogon sp. L.), respectively. Dominant grass weed species were feral rye (Secale cereale L.), blackgrass (Alopecurus mysuroides Huds.), downy brome (Bromus tectorum L.) and bulbous bluegrass (Poa bulbosa L.), respectively. Field bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis L.), common lambsquarters (Chenopodium album L.), hoary cress (Cardaria draba [L.] Desv.) and Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense [L.] Scop.) were the most important disturbing plants prior to harvesting respectively in irrigated wheat fields of Zanjan province. Analysis of weed population based on Shannon-Wiener diversity index showed that the counties were grouped in three clusters. Tarom County was placed in first cluster and had lowest diversity among the counties. Zanjan, Eijrood and Abhar counties had the most species diversity and were placed in second cluster. Mahneshan, Khodabandeh and khorramdarreh were placed in third cluster.
