Sub: Constitution of Eco Conservation Zone

Sir,

As per Resolution taken under Aganda No.2 (ii) 21 Revenue Mouzas on the fringe of Gorumara National Park and 5 Revenue mouzas on the fringe of Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary are to be declared as Eco Conservation Zone by Land & Land Reforms Department. In addition the following areas are also to be designated as Eco Conservation Zone ­

1) Northern part of Apalchand Forest comprising Damdim, Paschim Damdim, Nipuchapur ets. 2) Gosairh at Beat in Moraghat Range 3) Sylee in Subdivision 4) Bandapani under district 5) Kunjanagar adjacent to under Alipurduar District

Joint Survey in this regard needs to be taken up by the L&LR Department, District Administration and the Forest Department to finalise the mouzas involved in these areas, as mentioned above, for notification of Eco Conservation Zone.

I would request you to direct the concerned local Divisional Forest Officers of these areas to get the j oint survey done and submit a compliance report to this Department.
