Carlow to enhance the remote/hybrid working function of all 6. Cavan Digital Hub Cavan NWR € 11,016.00 The purpose of this project is to strengthen the hubs recovery strategy as the economy opens fully and to support new digitally focused start ups and businesses in their growth within the area. Installation of additional technology enabled systems such as a remote access system will improve the hubs service current offerings. Cavan County Council Cavan NWR € 225,000.00 Project aims to allow 10 BCPs in Cavan to run a range of digital activities and enhance remote working spaces for all members of the community. The locations in Cavan of these BCPs are Cornafean , Templeport , Bunnoe ,Mullahoran, Drumavaddy ,Castlerahan , Killenkere,Kildallan, Drumgoon,Swanlinbar. The 10 communities aim to develop flexible working solutions by developing and enhancing digital workspaces and to develop these BCPs into digital hubs. Proposal for funding includes additional switches and access points, IOT equipment, PV solar panels, electric car charging points & privacy booths. Also sought as a part of this investment will be relevant office furniture, perspex screens and security systems. Clare County Council Clare Southern € 209,700.00 This project will upgrade exisiting hubs and BCPs in Ennis, Ennistymon, Kilrush, Flagmount and Feakle. Through this proposal Clare plan to enhance remote working space for all members in local communities by introducing additional hot desk facilities in each location, upgrade internal and external signage and upgrading disability access. Fermoy E-Centre Cork Southern € 75,000.00 Extensive proposal that seeks to use funding to add 14 extra desks (7 hot desks and 3 cellular office spaces), increasing the economic benefit to the locality by approx. €820,000 in salaried income. Other works proposed include energy updates, connectivity upgrades and additional mobility infrastructure. Republic of Work Cork Southern € 75,000.00 Republic of Work is based in the heart of Cork City. This proposal will see the installation of a broadcasting studio, meeting room upgrades, installation of privacy booths and upgrade of disabilty access. The Ludgate Hub Cork Southern € 60,756.33 The Ludgate Hub is located in Skibbereen, Co.Cork. Ludgate wishes to add additional capacity to their existing remote working infrastructure through the development and enhancement of their digital technology framework and enhancement of their current facilities and space. This proposal will see the upgrade of their current IT systems, install energy effiecient upgrades and privacy phone booths. Benchspace Cork Cork Southern € 16,843.70 The Pitch Perfect Project will enhance Benchspace’s offering to users of the hub and can also act as a regional resource hub for creatives. This will see an upgrade to the audio visual facilities by installing a Pitch Booth in the existing space. The Pitch Booth will be equipped with conference equipment, a workstation, visualisers, cameras, lighting and backdrops. Benchspace users will be able to leverage this new facility to capture their work by camera or video to reach customers and buyers in Europe and Internationally. Bantry E-Centre Cork Southern € 75,000.00 Bantry E-Centre is a 12 desk remote working facility owned by Cork County Council. Funds are sought to undertake an energy upgrade (heating and lighting to be made more energy efficient), a broadband connectivity upgrade (improve to 1GB) and extra capacity (9 additional desks for remote learning and own-door office). Macroom Enterprise Centre Cork Southern € 68,370.30 This project will improve the experience of hub users, which include businesses, remote workers and students / trainees through the upgrading of audio visual equipment, accessibility and meeting room facilities in this existing hub in Macroom. gTeic Béal Átha an Ghaorthaidh - Údarás Cork Southern € 30,906.00 Project seeks investment to upgrade the facility so to be optimised as a critical local source to enhance remote working, online learning and new start-ups. This proposal will add-value to and extend the range and impact of the infrastructure and services which the Hub will offer to local enterprises, start-ups, remote workers and to individuals and local community enterprises who are committed to developing new and enhanced skills and qualifications. Project consists of installing an imrpoved video conference system, a networking upgrade, energy efficiency improvements & an access control system Avondhu Blackwater Partnership CLG Cork Southern € 23,580.00 This project will add 8 remote working spaces to this BCP. It will also provide for the upgrade of meeting facilities and greatly improve the overall remote working offering of this location Donegal County Council Donegal NWR € 250,000.00 This project will extend the capacity and the sustainability of the BCP Network in MalinBeg, Leghowey, Ray, Carrigart, Tory Island and Croaglin. The investment will enhance the value of the hub to both the local economy and the local community and will make a significant contribution to the region for a place to live, work and invest in. This proposal will range from building refurbishments works to ICT hardware and furniture to maximise the use of the high speed BCPs. Mevagh Family Resource Centre Donegal NWR € 24,080.43 Facility has offered hot-desking service since 2006. The proposed works will update and brighten the space, making it a more professional work space and more comfortable to work in. Proposal includes upgrades to lighting, furniture and dividers, ventilation and sound proof booth. The BASE Enterprise Centre Donegal NWR € 67,100.68 The BASE Enterprise Centre is applying for funding to extend and upgrade the range of facilities and services they offer and bring them in line with the expectations of remote workers with the aim of supporting the goal of Balanced Regional Development. This proposal will expand existing remote working infrastructure, IT Network upgrades, Signage upgrades and access control systems. gTeic @ Cill Charthaigh Donegal NWR € 15,142.50 This proposal will improve the quality and effectiveness of the existing hub offering by improving the remote working offering in the building.The proposal will completely change the existing room, to remove 4 of the bulky long-term desks and replace them with two privacy pods and 6 co-working desks. This increases the capacity of the area while also providing two privacy booths (one booth which will host a two-person meeting and another booth which accommodates 1 person). It is also planned to change the entrance door to the room to a full glass door with a full window panel in the frame to make the space open and visible and attractive to passing users. The area will also be brightened up to become a more creative space with new flooring, modern furniture and brighter colours. The Business Hub Donegal NWR € 75,000.00 This project will expand capacity by fitting out unit (291 sq m) to add 3 large offices, 3 small offices, meeting room, and other supporting utilities and amenities, storage room, canteen, toilets, tea/coffee station and printing station. By doing this, it can help keep people in the community, who would otherwise be travelling to the larger cities to work. Cowork Plus An Tearmann Donegal NWR € 45,000.00 Project will enhance remote working infrastructure at existing hub through the addition of three office spaces and large shared spaces. Funding provided will also allow for a new central air system and the requisite upgrade to facilities to allow for this. Spraoi agus Spórt Donegal NWR € 75,000.00 This project aims modernise the current co-working space and double the co-working capacity. Works planned include energy upgrades, door upgrades, flooring, ventilation, room reconfiguration and office furniture. Ace Enterprise Park, Bawnogue Dublin EMR € 48,215.00 Ace Enterprise Bawnogue comprises of 28,000ft2 across a variety of buildings, built back in 2000. It is currently home to approx. 120 clients, from Community Groups to small Start- Ups, the split being 65:35 Community. Their aim is to convert the ground floor into a CO-Working space, with collision areas around a coffee dock, new accessible bathrooms, and a digital suite. This floor will be able to accommodate up to 12 people with social distancing and will have soundproofed pods installed. The Digital Suite will be a room that is soundproofed, and set up with a green screen, lighting and acoustics, suitable for the Start Up to make videos, create webinars, produce podcasts and take images for their business website. The 1st floor will be converted into 5 suitable 2 man office spaces, and the top floor into an Audio Visual Meeting room ideal for those virtual meetings and collaborating with the remote team Fingal Liam Rodgers Community Centre Dublin EMR € 10,000.00 Project will enhance remote working infrastructure at existing BCP, This project will provide a space for local businessmen and women, students, entrepreneurs to work remotely within their locality in a safe friendly welcoming environment. The aim of this project is yt provide 6 workstations in the meeting room, socially distanced and Perspex screens where necessary. These workstations will be available each day for regular booking or as a hot desk. The meeting pods or telephone booths will also be available separately in the centre for the community to have more private meetings or phone conversations in the centre. Applewood Community Centre Dublin EMR € 10,000.00 Project will see the addition of remote working equipment including a wall mounted screen, fold away desks and desk dividers (Perspex screens), office chairs, security key pad and a modular meeting pod. Carmichael Centre Dublin EMR € 28,342.80 Investment will support balanced regional development & contribute to achievement of goals outlined in both Our Rural Future & Making Remote Work.
