06/2016 RULES AND REGULATIONS

CARTS:

Those who have a driver’s license may a cart. Those with a driver’s permit must be accompanied by their parent to drive a cart.

Anyone playing golf, regardless of age, and riding in a cart must be charged the prevailing cart fee.

Only two riders per cart. ALL VIOLATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A FINE TO BE DETERMINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS!

DRIVING RANGE:

Hitting golf balls over the fence is strictly prohibited. With clear and convincing evidence of someone hitting a ball over the fence, a member may be fined an amount not to exceed $2500 and/or suspended from the club or any of its amenities for up to 6 months. Any fine or suspension shall be determined by the Board of Directors. The hearing and appeal process as set forth in the By-Laws shall be applicable to any alleged violation of this rule. Members are responsible for the actions of their guests.

All classes of membership (excluding social) are charged for mandatory range plan. No credit will be issued to stock, junior, and non-resident members. Honorary widows and seniors may request credit provided they and their guests use the club for dining only. Should anyone play golf on said membership (senior/widow), member will be billed range plan for year. (No exceptions)

PACE OF PLAY:

All groups are expected to play 18 holes in no more than 4 hours. (2 hours on the front and 2 hours on the back). If your group is in the time frame but holding up other groups, Oakbourne policy is to let the group behind you play through.

To help maintain each group's position on the try and play ready golf. (The first person to reach their ball hits, even if it is out of turn)

No mulligans are allowed off #1 when “NO Mulligan“ sign is out.

GUESTS:

All guests must be registered prior to play. **Each member will be limited to one guest on Saturday mornings between 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM Daylight Savings Time. (12:30 PM Standard Time) On Tuesday through Friday each member will be limited to one guest from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Daylight Savings Time (12:30 PM Standard Time). (See page 3)

06/2016 Fivesomes are permitted anytime except Saturday before 10:00 AM, and Tuesday before ladies' day play. Must have a threesome or foursome before 11:00 AM, singles and twosomes may play after 2:00 PM. However, at the golf pro’s discretion, twosomes may be allowed to play before 11:00 AM under special circumstances.

GENERAL RULES:

1. Keep carts on trails when signs are posted. 2. Please use 90-degree rule. 3. Replace all divots and use sand on cart to repair it. 4. Please repair ball marks on greens! (A ball mark properly repaired will heal in 24 to 48 hours, otherwise two to three weeks). 5. Please have consideration for others playing by raking sand traps.

There is a $5.00 handling charge for reciprocal charge back privileges.

CART RATES:

Full Cart $40.00 eighteen holes Half Cart $20.00 eighteen holes Full cart $20.00 nine holes Half cart $10.00 nine holes Single cart $20.00 eighteen holes Single cart $10.00 nine holes

2 carts for - 3 carts for fivesomes Per Board of Directors: If 3 carts are used for a foursome, full cart fee of $34.00 will be charged for each cart. If 4 carts are used for a fivesome all 4 carts will be charged full cart fee of $34.00.

GUEST FEES:

Guest fees - weekday (Tuesday through Thursday) with a member $55.00 (If approved) weekday without a member $125.00 weekend (Friday through Sunday) with a member $75.00 (If approved) weekend without a member $125.00 (If not accompanied by a member the guest must reside outside an adjoining parish.)

Guests living in Lafayette Parish or adjoining Parish will be limited to 12 times per calendar year, unless approved by the general manager. This would also apply to any family members not qualifying under the member's account and living in Lafayette parish or adjoining parishes (excluding grandchildren under the age of 16). There will be no limit for grandchildren under the age of 16 playing with grandparent. This policy includes the use of the chipping green, driving range, and putting green. *The guest policy for family members living outside the adjoining parishes will remain the same. Guests living outside Lafayette Parish or adjoining Parish will be limited to 12 times per calendar year, unless approved by the general manager.

06/2016 *Family members not qualify under member's account and living outside the adjoining parishes may play 4 times per month at prevailing green fee, 5 or more times per month will be charged prevailing green fee equal to “guest without a member” green fee.

Anytime a guest plays golf and is not playing with a member a $125.00 green fee will be charged. NO EXCEPTIONS

If a member uses a guest card and the guest plays golf without said member, a $125.00 guest fee will apply.(see house rules for qualifications for guest card)

For green fee purposes, a *family member would be daughter, daughter-in-law, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, mother, mother-in-law, father, father-in-law, grandparent, or grand-children only. Any other family member would be charged normal guest fee.

Family members not qualifying under member’s account and fitting the above description, playing with family member will be charged $40.00 green fee. If not accompanied by member, $125 guest fee applies.

TUESDAY LADIES' DAY - Tee times will be blocked 8:45 AM and later (based on ladies tournament participation).

Guest Fee Rain-Out Policy:

0-4 Holes - No charge 5-9 Holes – ½ prevailing guest fee 10-18 Holes – Full prevailing guest fee

Policy applies to prevailing weekday, weekend, and holiday guest fee rates only. There is no rain out provision for any discount rates such as family rate or twilight rates. Cart fees will be prorated for golf holes played. This policy is for inclement weather only.

**The policy on page 1 concerning 1 (one) guest per member during specified times has temporarily been suspended. You will be notified when rule is reinstated.
