RACING PROGRAM – AGES 8 - 17
SCHEDULE: May/June/Sept : 3-5 sessions per week – typically Mon-Fri; 3:45pm – 6pm (competition schedule pending) July/August: 3-5 sessions per week – typically Mon-Fri ; 10am – 4pm daily (competition schedule pending) SKILL: Train to compete in Regattas (competitions) Develop skills in Sprint Canoe, Sprint Kayak, and Dragon Boat On-water and on-land training (running/weights) Excellent cross-training for other sports
FEES: OPTION 1 : Full Season = $460 (YCKC Membership/CKS Membership & Unlimited Sessions) OPTION 2 : Pay-as-you-Go = $160 Base Cost (includes membership) plus Session Fees ($15/full day; $10/PM only; $5/AM/June/Sept only) Racing Singlet $22 – Required for competitors – a new design is coming – cost may increase Regatta Fees (entry, accommodation, transportation) – Competitions are NOT mandatory Family Discounts available

® CanoeKids 8:30am – 4:30pm Ages ~8-12 July & August 4-day camps (Mon-Thurs OR Tues – Fri.) Early/Late pick-up/drop off available ($20/each per week) All equipment and coaching provided Sessions introduce paddlers to the fundamentals of Sprint canoeing/kayaking, Dragon Boat Minimum of 5 paddlers required to run camp; Max. 10 Participants per camp
Schools/Businesses/Groups Introduction to Dragon Boat, Sprint Kayaking/Canoeing technique and water safety Cost varies based on session length and type of session 2 hour session cost: Kayaking Only = $10/participant (10 participants or less); $5/participant (11+ participants ) Dragon Boat = $10/participant (10 participants or less); $5/participant (11+ participants ) Combined Session (Kayaking & Dragon Boat or 2 Dragon Boats) = $10/participant
