Ryman Arts Sklar Internships with The Company

To honor the retirement and 54 year career of Disney Legend and Ryman Arts Co-Founder , provides two paid internships to Ryman Arts alumni each year, one each in Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering. These interns are known as the “Ryman Arts Sklar Interns”. They internships for Summer 2014. The deadline for the Animation internship will be in the spring, details will be posted on the Ryman Arts website as soon as they are available. The deadline for the Walt Disney Imagineering internship is on January 6.

Walt Disney Imagineering Internship

Walt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, , production, project management, and research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company and its affiliates. Representing more than 140 different disciplines, its talented corps of Imagineers is responsible for the creation of Disney resorts, theme parks and attractions, hotels, water parks, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, cruise ships and new media technology projects. Located in Glendale, CA.

To be eligible you must: * Be a Ryman Arts alumnus * Be eligible to work in the * Be available to work full time this summer * Be a current undergraduate or graduate student, or be a December 2013 graduate from undergraduate or graduate school. * Current high school students and Spring or Summer 2013 college graduates are not eligible to apply.

The deadline to apply is January 6, 2014

Application process:

1. Submit your application by Monday, January 6, 2014 for review and comments. 2. Rebecca and the Ryman Arts staff will review your application materials, respond to you individually with any suggestions, and then give you a link to upload your application directly to the Disney Careers website. Your application will have to be uploaded to Disney Careers by January 12, 2014. 3. You will be notified by mid-March to let you know whether or not you are a finalist for the internship. If you are a finalist, you may be called in to WDI for an interview. The internship selection will be completed by the end of April 2014.
