Iger Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board The Walt Disney Company 500 South Buena Vista Street Burbank, CA 91521 Bob Chapek Chief Executive Officer The Walt Disney Company 500 South Buena Vista Street Burbank, CA 91521 Dear Mr. Iger and Mr. Chapek: I write to express concern about The Walt Disney Company’s (Disney) recent decision to lay off 28,000 workers during an economic recession1 while reinstating pay rates for highly compensated senior executives.2 In the years leading up to this crisis, your company prioritized the enrichment of executives and stockholders through hefty compensation packages3, and billions of dollars’ worth of dividend payments4 and stock buybacks,5 all of which weakened Disney’s financial cushion and ability to retain and pay its front-line workers amid the pandemic. While I appreciate that your company has continued to provide health-care benefits to furloughed workers for the past six months,6 thousands of laid off employees will now have to worry about how to keep food on the table7 as executives begin receiving hefty paychecks again.8 I would like to know whether Disney’s financial decisions have impacted the company’s 1 Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, “Statement from Josh D’Amaro, Chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP),” September 29, 2020, https://dpep.disney.com/update/. 2 Deadline, “Disney & Fox Corporation End Temporary Executive Pay Cuts Related To COVID-19 Pandemic,” Nellie Andreeva and Dominic Patten, August 20, 2020, https://deadline.com/2020/08/disney-fox-coronavirus-pay- reductions-restored-1203018873/.

University Students Take Honors for Innovation and Creativity in Walt Disney Imagineering’s 25th Imaginations Design Competition January 29, 2016 | Glendale, CA – The winners of the Walt Disney Imagineering’s 25th Imaginations design competition were announced today during an awards luncheon at Walt Disney Imagineering headquarters in Glendale, California. Imaginations is one of the creative and unique ways that Imagineering uses to search for the next generation of talented theme parK designers. Started in 1991 by Disney Legend and Imagineering executive Marty SKlar, the design competition has since grown to include a separate version sponsored by Hong Kong Disneyland. For this year’s competition, students from American universities and colleges were given the following challenge: Design a traveling experience that could tour small towns across the United States for families who do not have the opportunity to travel to a Disney parK. This temporary venue would operate in each community for two to three days, should take no more than a day to set up and break down, and embodies the Kind of family entertainment that Walt Disney envisioned when he first built Disneyland. First place was awarded to Geoff BacKstrom, Katie Eastman and Courtney Irby from Ohio University and David Borning from University of Washington for “MicKey’s Magic Garden,” which uses the concept of a magical dandelion to bring Disney magic to towns across the country. “MicKey’s Magic Garden” features multiple themed lands, custom designed rides, walK-thru attractions, character greeting experiences, and a wide array of themed dining opportunities. Second place was awarded to Kevin Chen, Whitney Chen, Kevin Graham and Amy Woon from University of Texas at Austin for “Hueroic,” which takes guests on an unforgettable journey to explore the wonder and beauty of art and imagination.

  • The Disney Bloodline
Get Your Free 150 MB Website Now! THE SKILL OF LYING, THE ART OF DECEIT The Disney Bloodline The Illuminati have refined the art of deception far beyond what the common man has imagined. The very life & liberty of humanity requires the unmasking of their deceptions. That is what this book is about. Honesty is a necessary ingredient for any society to function successfully. Deception has become a national pastime, starting with our business and political leaders and cascading down to the grass roots. The deceptions of the Illuminati's mind-control may be hidden, but in their wake they are leaving tidal waves of distrust that are destroying America. While the CIA pretend to have our nations best interest at heart, anyone who has seriously studied the consequences of deception on a society will tell you that deception will seriously damage any society until it collapses. Lies seriously damage a community, because trust and honesty are essential to communication and productivity. Trust in some form is a foundation upon which humans build relationships. When trust is shattered human institutions collapse. If a person distrusts the words of another person, he will have difficulty also trusting that the person will treat him fairly, have his best interests at heart, and refrain from harming him. With such fears, an atmosphere of death is created that will eventually work to destroy or wear down the cooperation that people need. The millions of victims of total mind- control are stripped of all trust, and they quietly spread their fears and distrust on a subconscious level throughout society.

College Students Reimagine the Future of Themed Experiences for the 29th Annual Walt Disney Imagineering Imaginations Design Competition Six finalist teams to present their designs for interactive experiences involving an iconic installation at the contestants’ own campus or city Jan. 6, 2020 | Glendale, CA – Walt Disney Imagineering—which dreams up and designs all Disney theme parks, resorts, cruise ships and other family entertainment experiences—selected six teams of finalists to compete in the 2020 Imaginations Design Competition, to be held Jan. 13-17, 2020. This year’s teams represent Laguna College of Art and Design, Savannah College of Art and Design, Texas A&M University, United States Naval Academy, and University of North Carolina School of the Arts. For nearly three decades, Imaginations has served as a prestigious design competition with the purpose of discovering and nurturing the next generation of Disney Imagineers from a diverse array of disciplines and skillsets. Founded in 1991 by former Imagineering executive and Disney Legend Marty Sklar, the program has also grown to include separate local versions sponsored by Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Shanghai Disney Resort. For this year’s competition, teams were challenged to create an iconic installation at the contestants’ own campus or city that serves as an inspiration, honors the past, and is a vision of the future. It could be architectural, ornamental, static or active — whatever the team feels is the best way to represent their unique chosen location. The competition also embraces both the intimate and grandiose of ideation — the guidelines are that the designs be appropriate for the location selected.

WALT DISNEY ARCHIVES RESTORES WALT DISNEY’S OFFICE SUITE AS PERMANENT EXHIBIT SPACE DISNEY CHAIRMAN AND CEO BOB IGER AND MEMBERS OF THE DISNEY FAMILY DEDICATE THE SUITE, WHICH FEATURES WALT’S ORIGINAL FURNISHINGS AND MEMORABILIA. BURBANK, Calif. – December 7, 2015 – The Walt Disney Company Chairman and CEO Bob Iger, joined by members of the Disney family, dedicated Walt Disney’s newly restored office suite on the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank today. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Burbank studio, the Walt Disney Archives restored the space, located in the original Animation Building, to include Walt’s formal and working offices, along with original furnishings, some items from his collection of miniatures, awards, and his piano. “We put this permanent exhibit together to serve as a source of inspiration,” said Iger during the ceremony, “a reminder to have great ambition, to take bold creative risks, to constantly innovate and push the limits of possibility, to relentlessly pursue perfection, and to tell fantastic stories that touch peoples’ hearts. That was Walt Disney.” Walt Disney’s granddaughters Joanna Miller, Jennifer Goff, and Michelle Lund were on hand for the event, along with special guests including Richard Sherman (composer of Mary Poppins, “It’s a Small World,” and many Disney classics), Kathryn Beaumont (the voice of Alice from Alice in Wonderland and Wendy in Peter Pan), and former head of Walt Disney Imagineering Marty Sklar. In 1970, when Disney Legend Dave Smith founded the Walt Disney Archives, Walt’s furnishings from his offices were removed, and, for the last 45 years, they were safely cared for by the staff of the Walt Disney Archives.
