On 5 May at 6.00 UTC it center was CALEDONIA TORBA located approx. 110 km south-west of Hiw island (Torres islands) and it had max. sustained winds speed (Pop. 9 359) of 157 km/h. 5 May, 6.00 UTC • Over the next 48 h it is forecast to keep moving south- 167 km/h sust. winds west with turning to the south-east on 6 May, NEW strengthening further. Its center is forecast to move ZEALAND o over open sea between Vanuatu and New Caledonia from 5-11 May. Heavy rain, strong winds and storm surge may affect the provinces of Torba, Penama, Sanma and Malampa during 5-7 May as well as the South Vanuatu group during 7-10 May.
