On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that approval be given to the amendments that are set out in the attached Schedules I to 3 and are made to the bylaws of the council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.

Pursuant to Section 48 of the Pharmacists Act, being Chapter 326 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, September 1980, the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, on 18 June 1986 did resolve that:

The Schedules to the Pharmacists Act of British Columbia be amended as follows:

SCHEDULE A, PART 1 be amended

by tne deletion of:

AMYL NITRITE DAPSONE F and its salts F SULPHONAL AND ALKYL SULPHONALS F TOLBUTAMIDE and its salts and derivatives

SCHEDULE A, PART 1 be amended

by the addition of:

and by the addition, in the category listings, of:

ALL NEW NONPRESCRIPTION DRUGS LIQUID PREPARATIONS CONTAINING CAMPHOR 6% OR MORE

and by the addition in the alphabetical listing of:

BETHANECHOL CHLORIDE HEPARIN and its salts except for topical use IPECAC SYRUP IPECAC TINCTURE SODIUM CHLORIDE for ophthalmic use in concentrations greater than 0.9 per cent SCHEDULE B, PART 1 be amended by the deletion of:

CAMPHOR 'Except in those Liquid Preparations containing 5% or more" .PAPAIN and by the addition of:

CAMPHOR 'Except in those Liquid Preparations containing 6% or more' FIBRE FROM GRAIN OR CITRUS PAPAIN except when sold or recommended as a debriding agent SODIUM CHLORIDE, except when recommended for ophthalmic use in concentrations greater than 0.9 per cent

SCHEDULE B, PART 2 be amended by the deletion of subsection 2 of the preamble to this part

and by its replacement with subsection 2 as follows:

'contained in any other product when the drug's dosage does not exceed that of a product registered as in (1) above, and when the product is recommended to treat the same condition as is the proprietary medicine and when the padage size of the product qualifies for registration as in (1).' SCHEDULE B, PART 4 be amended by the deletion of:

FOLIC ACID

and by the addition of:

FOLIC ACID 1.0 mg Schedule

Pursuant to Section 48 of the Pharmacists Act, being Chapter 326 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, the Executive Committee of the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, on 13 May 1987, did resolve that:

"The Schedules to the Pharmacists Act of British Columbia be amended as follows:

SCHEDULE A, PART 1 be amended

by the deletion of:

Also, pursuant to Section 48 of the Pharmacists Act, the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia on 11 June 1987, did resolve that:

"The Schedules to the Pharmacists Act of British Columbia be amended as follows:

SCHEDULE A, PART 1

by the deletion of:

F LOPERAMIDE and it salts

by the addition of:

ETHANOLAMINE OLEATE SODIUM TETRADECYL SULFATE

and SCHEDULE A, PART 3, DIVISION 2

by the addition of

LOPERAMIDE and its salts
