Sri. Avinash, Amberpet, Hyderabad has filed a complaint dated 08-03-2019 which was received by this Commission on 08-03-2019 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO / O/o the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, A.C. Guards, Hyderabad.

The brief facts of the case as per the complaint and other records received along with it are that the complainant herein filed an application u/s 6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 dated 02-02-2019 before the PIO requesting to furnish the below information: TSIC

and few more points.

Stating that the complainant did not get the information from the Public Information Officer even after 30 days of filing his 6(1) appeal, he preferred this complaint before this Commission requesting to direct the PIO to furnish the information sought by him u/s 18(1) of the RTI Act, 2005.

The complaint was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 15-11-2019.

The case is called on 15-11-2019. The complainant Sri. Avinash is absent. Smt. R. Rajani, Superintendent is present and filed affidavit of Smt. N. Vani Sri, Joint Director, O/o the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, Hyderabad stating that vide letter Roc. No: e 40778/2018/K4 dated: 08-02-2019 the application was forwarded to the PIO / O/o the Municipal Commissioner, Jillelaguda Municipality, the PIO / O/o the Municipal Commissioner, Meerpet Municipality, Ranga Reddy District and the PIO / O/o the Municipal Commissioner, Pedda Amberpet Municipality, Hyderabad with a direction to furnish the information to the complainant immediately. The PIO filed a copy of the letter along with the despatch proof before the Commission.

The PIO / Sri. V. Venkateshwarlu, Technical Work Inspector and Sri. M. Sreenivas Revenue Officer, O/o the Municipal Commissioner, Pedda Amberpet Municipality, Hyderabad is present and submitted that the information sought was furnished to the complainant on three occasions vide letter No: PIO/4478/RTI/2018 dated: 05-05-2018 letter No: PIO/709/RTI/2018-19 dated: 26-03-2019, 26-07-2019. The PIO filed the copy of the information furnished before the Commission.

The PIO / Sri. K. Upender Reddy, I/c Manager, Meerpet Municipality, Ranga Reddy District is present and stated that the information was furnished to the complainant vide letter No: RTI/451/2019-20 dated: 08-04-2019 and filed the copy of the information furnished before the Commission.

Heard the PIO and perused the material papers available on record. The Commission observed that the complainant is seeking information relating to several Municipalities in single 6(1) application. In case the appellant is not satisfied with the information furnished by the PIO, the Commission advises the appellant toTSIC file a separate 6(1) application before the concerned Public Authority to seek the required information.

Since the available & held information is furnished, the complaint is closed.
